The Minister for Public Enterprises and Member of Parliament for Effia, Joseph Cudjoe, has been appointed as a member of the Economic Management Team by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Cudjoe will also serve as a member of President Nana Akufo-Addo’s cabinet in his second term from 2021 to 2024.
The Economic Management Team (EMT) under the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration is composed of nine members and chaired by Dr Bawumia.
Other members include Hon Osafo Marfo, Snr Advisor to the President; Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta; Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Minister for Agriculture; Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister for Trade and Industry; Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Energy Minister.
Hon. Joseph Cudjoe is the Deputy Minister of Energy in charge of Finance and Infrastructure. He is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Effia Constituency in the Western Region.
Joseph began his professional career in 2000 as a financial analyst and planning manager for ENO International and LLC. He continued in April 2002 as a senior consultant for SEM International Associates and in 2003 as the General Manager, SEM Capital Management Limited.
He then worked as the Investment Manager of Ghana Cocoa Board from April 2004 to December 2012.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance from the University of Ghana, as well as Part One (1) of Master of Technical Education (M. Tech.Ed) and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (BSc) from KNUST.
